I debated on that.  I'm not sure I want my personal info linked to my screen name that could be linked to some posts that I have made on here or on Sake.  Suppose I just wouldn't want some friend in my home town to Google me and have this site or Sake to come up.  Am I being paranoid?

Meh.  Paranoid or not, you're welcome to share personal information at the level you're comfortable with.

What I would do, and have done in the past, is post it, but then remove the personal information in a day or so.

YMMV.

Good enough answer for me:

Nicole Marie Hernandez and Phillip Norman Meyer were united in marriage on May 31, 2008, at the Cornerstone Mansion in Omaha, Nebraska. The bride is the daughter of Ricardo and Debra Hernandez of Omaha. The bride’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abelardo Hernandez, Mr. David Tebbe, and Ms. Joan Tebbe were in attendance. The bride was attended by Michelle Pace, the best friend of the bride and Kristi Bueller, close friend of the bride. The bride graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has been accepted by the University of Nebraska Medical Center into the Master of Public Health program. The groom is the son of the late Kenneth Meyer and Kathaleen Thornton. The groom was attended by his brothers, Mick and Zach Meyer. The groom graduated from Oswego State University in New York with a degree in Computer Science. He is currently enrolled in at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Master of Computer Science program. The bride and groom will travel to Ocho Rios, Jamaica in December to celebrate their honeymoon.

Does Phil's mom's name really have two a's? And maybe it's better to use his brothers' full names, rather than nicknames?

Also, I thought when one parent was living and one deceased that the living parent was usually listed first.

I just made a couple comma changes and reworded one bit a little. Is that the correct spelling of his mom's name?

I thought the spelling of her name was strange too, but I got it off his birth certificate.

Rivka, both parents are deceased, did I not convey that well?

I wondered about that myself, and assumed that only one was deceased.

It's ambiguous. It could be read as ((late dad) and (mom)) or as (late (dad and mom)). If you want to ensure the latter reading, I would repeat "the late" before his mom's name.

In fact, it was exactly because of the ambiguity that I was suggesting the alternate phrasing. I just made the wrong assumption. I agree with Jonathon's suggestion.

The final version looks good. :)
