Stoned and high refer to the state of intoxication that comes from drug use. A stoner dictionary would have high definitions. A Blu-ray player, because of the quality of its video quality, also had high definition. It is a pun.

When highlighting a few of the essays in the collection, the review mentions topics ranging from “her stabilizing second marriage to her beloved dog” without benefit of comma, thus giving the impression that Sparky and I are hitched.
