Do alveo-palatals have any classification such as high, back, coronal, anterior, etc?

Yes. They're coronal. Alveolo-palatals are postalveolar, and all postalveolar sounds are coronal.

Thanks. :)

I should mention that before now, I didn't know what the differences between postalveolar, alveolo-patal, and palato-alveolar were.

Yea I still don't really know the difference.

I'm feeling particularly dorky: I'm going downstairs to watch Star Trek while I finish my linguistics hw.

It has to do with whether the tongue is pointed or bunched up.

Too bad. I really enjoyed phonology and wished that I'd had more than half a semester of it.
