The checkers at the supermarket call women older than themselves "sweetie". They call women younger than themselves "baby".

Our waitress the other day at lunch (who was in her 40s) called my boss "baby". He's 59, with a full head of really white hair. I almost shot Diet Coke out of my nose.

Well, I am not working anymore. But Jon Boy tends to be annoyed with my position that modern English is actually Latin.

I left an important word out of this second statement which completely changed its meaning. I couldn't figure out why Jon Boy doing what mph suggested would help get this side jumping again.
