Four Years
Today is our four-year anniversary. Sometimes I think to myself, “Holy crap! Have we really been married that long?” And then I see our wedding pictures and decide that judging from how young I look in them, we’ve probably been married more like ten years. I seriously look like I’m about sixteen in some of them. Of course, when I was sixteen, I looked like I was twelve, so I guess it all works out somehow.
I think it’s been a very good four years overall. Sure, there’s been a lot of unemployment, some crappy jobs, and lots of other miscellaneous stress, but that’s just life. I’m glad that I’ve had Brinestone right there with me through it all. She has made the bad times more tolerable and the good times better. And of course, without her, I wouldn’t have Lego, who is an awesome little boy.
So happy anniversary, sweetie. I love you and I’m happy to have you in my life.

That sounds right, considering Brinestone was one of the first Hatrackers I met, and we were married six months later. I don’t remember exactly when we met you, but I’m sure it was sometime in our first year of marriage. We’d been married a little less than a year when I first put up the forum.

I first met you at a beginning-of-school/Annie’s in town get-together which met at the food court in the Wilc and then went over to Kewanis Park.
